Sam has been a long-time supporter of Sony Foundation from hosting events to raising awareness, Sam is particularly proud of the way the Foundation partners with business and media communities to generate real support young Aussies in need.

Peter Overton

Peter has a special relationship with Sony Foundation – it was his 60 Minutes story on the “Forgotten Generation” of cancer patients that contributed to the conception of You Can. He remains an incredibly committed supporter of Sony Foundation and its mission.

John Eales AM

Rugby legend John is a big champion of the Foundation’s Children’s Holiday Camp Program through his annual hosting of a fundraiser for the program and leading the charge in the Sony Foundation City2Surf team, running with children with special needs.

Tessa James

Actress Tessa is a wonderful source of support for a number of young cancer patients, having battled Hodgkins’ Lymphoma herself. Given her experience, Tessa understands more than most about the need for specialised youthcancer centres and is a vocal advocate for the cause.

Natalie Bassingthwaite

A staunch advocate for improving youth cancer care and a mentor to many of the You Can patients, Natalie’s boundless energy has proven invaluable to the Melbourne You Can Centre. From hosting events to media campaigns, Nat stops at nothing to spread Sony Foundation’s message.

Anthony Minichiello

Rugby League great Anthony joined Sony Foundation as an ambassador in 2015, with a passion for the Children’s Holiday Camp Program. Anthony is very engaged with not only the program itself, but the children who benefit from its existence

Sally Obermeder

A cancer survivor herself, Sally has provided immense wisdom and support to a number of You Can patients. Sally is determined that no young patient be thrust into the dark, often terrifying, world of cancer treatment alone.

Richard Wilkins AM

Richard is one of Sony Foundation’s longest-standing ambassadors and has fervently advocated for each of Sony Foundation’s unique programs over the years. From hosting events to visiting patients in hospital, Richard’s support is immeasurable.

Steve Smith

Cricketing great, Steve, is a huge champion of the Foundation’s youth cancer program You Can. From donating exclusive prizes, to playing corridor cricket with patients in hospital, Steve goes above and beyond to ensure no young patient is left to face their cancer alone.

Giann Rooney

Former Olympian, Giaan, is passionately involved in all aspects of Sony Foundation. Hosting at events to visiting Holiday Camps for children with special needs, Giaan is instrumental in raising valued awareness for Sony Foundation.

Johnathan Thurston

Rugby League legend, JT, has a heart as big as his smile. Always taking the time to meet young benefactors, donating prizes at events or simply partaking in Foundation fundraising, JT approaches his ambassador role with genuine enthusiasm, commitment and endless generosity.

Conrad Sewell

International superstar, Conrad, has used his musical ability to connect and inspire every young person he has worked with through Sony Foundation’s programs. Performing at events, mentoring troubled youth and spending time with patients shows Conrad’s genuine commitment to the cause.

Dami Im

Songstress Dami has become a fervent ambassador for all of Sony Foundation’s programs over the years. Performing at events, visiting Holiday Camps and meeting with young patients, Dami’s generous nature leaves an impact on all who meet her.

Jai Waetford

Australian music sensation Jai has always shown his enduring support and belief in Sony Foundation and our programs. As a young Australian himself, Jai is willing to go to any length to ensure the work of Sony Foundation creates the impact and awareness needed to produce real and lasting change for the youth of Australia.

Delta Goodrem

A cancer survivor herself, Delta has a strong affinity with our You Can Champs. From performing at events, meeting patients to officially opening the Melbourne You Can Centre in 2016, Delta’s generosity of spirit has everlasting impact on each young patient she meets.

Jessica Mauboy

Jessica consistently shows her dedicated support for and belief in Sony Foundation’s programs through her standout event performances and media interviews to spending quality time with Sony Foundation benefactors. Jessica is a much-loved fixture of the Sony Foundation family.

Samantha Jade

Samantha Jade has a special link with Sony Foundation, having opened our first You Can Centre in Perth, 2013. Since then, Samantha has invested her time and talents into all Sony Foundation programs and is a great source of support for the young people of Sony Foundation.

Stan Walker

From performances to charity singles and unique partnerships, there’s no stopping energetic Stan Walker when it comes to Sony Foundation. Stan is a huge believer in helping those less fortunate than him, and he’s always happy to lend a hand to Sony Foundation’s charity partners.

Human Nature

This talented quartet, who passionately believe in the work of Sony Foundation perform at events, compete in game shows, record charity singles and basically stop at nothing to raise funds and awareness for Sony Foundation.

The Veronicas

Jess and Lisa Origliasso are powerhouse performers on stage, and are extremely compassionate, sensitive ambassadors off stage. The sisters absolutely adore performing for children on the Holiday Camps Program, spending time with patients at the You Can Centres and performing at ‘4Ward events and have an ability to make every person in a room warm to them instantly.
