On February 19, 2020, Sony Music Artist and Sony Foundation ambassador Stan Walker was interviewed on Sky News' Paul Murray Live: Our Town about his experience visiting the Bushfire ravagged area of Bateman's Bay.
Walker speaks of how heartbroken he is over the devastation among the people most affected by the bushfires, but also of how overwhelmed by their resilience, compassion, and empathy he is.
Walker has agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds of all of his streaming revenue during 2020 to the Sony Foundation's Bushfire Appeal, and hopes that he can have an impact on young Australians who are deeply affected.
