IN LOVING MEMORY OF EMMA LOUISE BORLACE
Emma Louise Borlace passed away peacefully at home on the night of May 20th, surrounded by her family, friends, her beloved dog “Banks,” and her partner Hugh.
Emma will be remembered for her intelligence, bravery, determination, compassion, and love for animals. Her quick wit and warm personality endeared her to all who met her. Emma and Hugh shared a deep bond, facing her diagnosis together with unwavering support.
Emma was also an incredible advocate for her peers, raising awareness of youth cancer issues, particularly those affecting regional youth cancer patients. Emma's advocacy efforts have created a lasting legacy, improving equitable access to treatment for future generations of regional youth cancer patients.
In lieu of flowers, Emma's family kindly asks you consider a donation to Sony Foundation's You Can Stay program. This initiative provides accommodation for regional youth cancer patients and their families during treatment, ensuring they have a safe and supportive place to stay.
Your generous contribution will honor Emma's memory and support other young Aussies with cancer, and their families. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Emma Borlace – Forever a You Can Champion.
