The Sony Foundation

It's with great privilege to be be participating in the The Sony Foundation Larapinta Trail challenge. 

The Sony Foundation supports young Australian's suffering from severe illness, disadvantage, homeless and displacement through a number of different projects such as the You Can Stay program, Youth Off The Streets Partnership, Musicians Making A Different Partnership and The Children's Holiday Camp Program.

My personal involvement with The Sony Foundation is with the You Can Stay Program, which supports 15 to 25 year old's who are diagnosed with cancer.  With the You Can Stay Program, we facilitate patients and families by providing accommodation for them when travelling from remote area's to major city hospitals for treatment, in partnership with Quest Apartment Hotels.

I am very much looking forward to this challenge and when the going gets tough, the names of those who we have supported thus far will be running though my mind.
