Honoured to Raise Funds for Youth Cancer

10 adventurers. 5 Days. 1 long walk for 1 seriously great cause! 

I’m really excited to be part of this campaign to raise money for ‘You Can’, a national youth cancer initiative set up by the Sony Foundation.

There’s a gap in health care for cancer patients between the ages of 15 and 25 years old. Often they’re in adult wards, feeling isolated and with minimal attention paid to their mental health.

I had the pleasure of meeting some of these young guys and girls and was touched and inspired by their positive attitudes and resilience. They are SERIOUSLY amazing, and I really feel we need to do everything we can to support their journey.

You Can does exactly that, closing the gap in care by building ‘home away from home’ centres, offering regional support and so much more.

Our Smile IT client, Spicers Retreats, has put together a team of 10, who’ll be walking 50-kilometres over 5 days along the ‘Spicers Scenic Rim Walk’ to raise money for You Can.
