Funds raised at the 2025 You Can Golf Days will go towards Sony Foundation's 'You Can' program - supporting young Australians with Cancer
Launched in 2022, the You Can Golf Day unites the insurance industry together in support of 15 - 29 year olds with cancer.
Funds raised go towards Sony Foundation's You Can program building youth cancer centres in adult public hospitals, research and accommodation for regional youth cancer patients who must come to the city for treatment.
It its 4th year, the annual Golf Day held in Sydney in March has raised over $160,000 to date.
in 2025, the You Can Golf Day is headed to Melbourne for the inagural event.

More young people (15-29 year olds) are diagnosed with cancer each year than children, yet their unique needs are often overlooked.
Too old for children’s hospitals, and too young to be alongside the elderly during their treatment, a need was identified for age-appropriate spaces and services in hospitals. In respone to this, in 2010, Sony Foundation launched 'You Can' and committed to funding the build of ‘You Can’ Centres within hospitals across Australia, which now act as hubs for specialised treatment, as well as social havens away from the hospital wards for youth cancer patients.
To date, Sony Foundation’s national network of ‘You Can’ Centres includes 5 centres across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, with the commitment of a sixth centre in Adelaide announced in 2024.
By supporting You Can, we are ensuring that these young Australians have a voice and the care they deserve. All donations go directly to the You Can program to continue improving the lives of young people living with cancer.
