Ray White Double Bay joins Sony Foundation as Rainbow Corporate Partner

Sony Foundation’s Corporate Partner network has been the backbone the Foundation since inception 20 years ago and the diversity and scale of their partners is unrivalled in this country.

We are exceptionally proud to announce another Rainbow Corporate Partner in Ray White Double Bay having joined our extensive network in 2018, joining some of Australia’s largest brands and businesses.

Sony Foundation’s Corporate Partner Program provides vital sponsorship funds, pro-bono services and employee volunteers to enable the Foundation to carry out its work. Last year, this created real and lasting impact with 15,000 + meals served through the Youth Off The Streets Food Van per year, nearly 2000 youth cancer patient visits to Sony Foundation funded You Can Centres per year, 1100 + student camper companions and 600+ special needs children attended Sony Foundation Holiday Camps and a 100% reported improvement in mental and physical health for MMAD’s Catch A Falling STAR program participants.

Ray White Double Bay will now be donating approximately $70,000 which is $100 from each sale, along with other fundraising initiatives to proudly align its team of high performing agents and property managers with Sony Foundation’s charitable programs and initiatives.

“Sony Foundation’s work raising money to fund programs to support for Australia’s unwell and underprivileged young people is nothing short of amazing and we’re proud to be able to contribute to the great work they do,” said Ray White Double Bay Director, Elliott Placks.

“From their ‘You Can’ youth cancer program which funds specialised youth cancer centres and services around Australia for adolescent and young adult patients to their ’Children’s Holiday Camp Program’ a unique respite program that sees high school and university students taken on the care of children with special needs, providing their families with invaluable respite. Sony Foundation’s work covering multiple aspects is something we’re excited be a part of,” Mr Placks continued.

Sony Foundation Australia’s CEO, Sophie Ryan said she was excited to welcome the team from Ray White Double Bay.

“Sony Foundation is thrilled to have a Rainbow Partner in Ray White Double Bay. The generous donation of $100 per house sold will go a long way in supporting young people though our life-changing programs. We never underestimate what power it has on the young people when we tell them some of the biggest companies and coolest brands in Australia are investing in their future – backing them and believing in them” – Sophie Ryan, CEO Sony Foundation

In addition to the team from Ray White Double Bay, Sony Foundation is exceptionally excited to also welcome Endemol Shine Australia as a Gold Corporate Partner and Imagination Graphics, ClearView and Yusen Logistics as Silver Corporate Partners.

With the support of our valued Corporate Partners, Sony Foundation is able to generate real and lasting change for Australia’s youth. We’re proud and humbled to have the support of so many brands and businesses wanting to contribute to a better future for our young Aussies.
