About Wharf4Ward 

Sony Foundation’s signature event, Wharf4Ward, is an entertainment spectacular that sees over 1,000 guests descend onto Sydney’s iconic Woolloomooloo Wharf. Taking over all six restaurants with multiple stages, Sony Music artist performances, celebrity hosts, luxury auction and exciting event activations, all coming together to raise record funds for You Can. To date, Wharf4Ward has raised close to $12 million.

 Wharf4Ward 2024 raised a record of over $1.5 Million for You Can Stay!

 25-year-old Emma Borlace from regional South Australia, was undertaking university in Wagga Wagga when she received a shock diagnosis of a rare blood cancer requiring her to relocate to Sydney for over eight months of treatment. Emma’s family were provided a two-bedroom apartment, at no cost, thanks to Sony Foundation’s You Can Stay program.

Emma very bravely showed her strength and resilience sharing her story at the event, receiving a standing ovation from everyone along the wharf.
